Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Analysis: Utilizing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of processes. Data analysis may involve the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.

Project Management: Leading or participating in process improvement projects, which may involve cross-functional teams. This includes defining project goals, scope, timelines, and tracking progress.

Training and Education: Providing training to employees on new processes and ensuring that they understand and can execute their roles effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization and staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Change Management: Assisting in managing change and ensuring that employees adapt to new processes smoothly. This may include addressing resistance to change.

Process Analysis: Analyzing existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. This may involve gathering data, conducting interviews, and using process mapping techniques.

Process Design: Designing and developing new processes or modifications to existing ones to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. This can involve creating flowcharts, diagrams, and documentation to outline the new processes.

Process Improvement: Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste within processes and recommending and implementing improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Standardization: Ensuring that processes are standardized and consistent across the organization to achieve uniformity and quality in outcomes.

Floor Marking Application: To the use of colored lines, symbols, and shapes on the floors and other surfaces of to convey important information and ensure safety and efficiency.

5S: Implementing 5S methods in all manufacturing operations.

Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of processes, process changes, and associated procedures. This documentation may include process manuals, guidelines, and training materials.

Communication: Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to gather input, share findings, and drive process improvements. Effective communication is crucial to success in this role.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field required. Lean Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or higher is a plus).

Experience: 35 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in printing, packaging, or a related industry. Experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement projects. Proven track record in process optimization, data analysis, and project management.

Certifications/Licenses: Lean Six Sigma certification or formal continuous improvement training preferred but not required.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and process mapping tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams. Ability to develop and deliver training materials. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated. Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and protocols.
