Manufacturing Operations Supervisor
Location: Trenton, MI
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is responsible for the achievement of daily production program with the highest level of safety, quality, costs, and environment. Supervisor is also responsible for driving continuous improvement activities and ensures the highest skills development for his/her team members/team leaders. Supervisor must maintain a good social climate and develop autonomy of the team.
Supervisor must also be knowledgeable of the broader manufacturing organization and mobilize support groups and resources when needed. He/she is also responsible to lead and assist in problem solving in his/her area of responsibility.
Key must haves:
Previous experience within an automotive/OEM setting
The supervisor must possess the characteristics of a self-starter and continually demonstrate motivation to autonomously learn, develop, and lead.
Essential skills for a successful supervisor include problem solving, active listening skills, critical thinking, effective leadership, and managerial skills.
