Solid Works Experience or Solid Works Composure, FDA Regulated Field, Electro Mechanical Device Experience, pFMEA experience, creating work instructions, 6 sigma/lean.
Self Starting
Take direction and understand the goal and how to accomplish it within work requirements.
Communicate with Design Engineers and understand the design function and how it integrates into the entire instrument
Able to find alternate recommendations for problems found during assembly. Effectively communicate status to supervisor and manager
Job Responsibilities:
Provides support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area by implementing and documenting improved manufacturing instructions.
Experience with Solidworks (or similar CAD mechanical modeling system) is required.
Proficient with EXCEL for analyzing data (e.g. PIVOT Tables, VLOOKUP functions) desired.
Works in various electronic manufacturing systems to ensure compliance of manufacturing specifications and processes
Collaborates with Manufacturing technicians to troubleshoot and document non-conforming products by executing engineering analysis and manufacturing process knowledge.
Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved manufacturing processes to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company.
Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
Collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality to communicate and coordinate technical activities and is capable of analyzing manufacturing data to communicate concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems
Education:
BS in Elec Eng/Mech or a Bio Science (Biomed/BioEng)
Preferred Experience:
BS degree in scientific technical area (e.g. Engineering) preferred with 1+ years experience regulated manufacturing experience
Seeking FDA regulated manufacturing experience with understanding of device manufacturing and quality release of product.
Experienced in understanding of Nonconformance management/CAPA and resolution including materials review board processes.
Familiarity with medical device manufacturing processes so they can contribute to error reduction and process enhancements.
