Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. Relocation is currently being offered for this role!
The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is responsible for developing, planning, and executing Sherman plant manufacturing engineering activities including active participation and leadership of continuous improvement programs. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will lead the management of capital and non-capital projects related to improving plant safety, quality, and productivity; provide manufacturing engineering technical direction, and support training of plant personnel regarding equipment and process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support initiatives to improve EHS culture and reduce plant safety risk; Manage at least one MESH element.
Resolve quality defects on the floor including direct support of the 8D process through closure within 15 days.
Assist with development of capital projects
Assist with the implementation of actions to support VAVE and NPI projects.
Support manufacturing activities and tasks for fabrication, paint, weld, and assembly processes and technologies including laser cutting, punching, stamping, bending and robotics.
Provide ongoing support and evolution of Total Productive Maintenance plans.
Create Standard Work documentation for plant processes which support clear expectations through defined methods and equipment. Ensures the efficient integration of new processes and systems into the manufacturing operation.
Counsel to other functions in the organization relative to production feasibility and process development.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum 2 years of direct relative manufacturing engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
2D & 3D parametric CAD Experience. Preferably SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Project Management Experience
SS, CRS, and Al TIG & MIG welding experience.
Powder coat and E-Coat paint experience; metal fabrication experience
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and/or Six Sigma
Experience in a ISO/QS-9000 certified environment
