Manufacturing Engineer Technician

Job Duties:
Responsible for supporting the design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing systems for customers. Specific duties include:
- Planning, scheduling, leading, and prioritizing the building, installation, and rail processes.
- Communicating build issues and redlining according to company processes.
- Integrating electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within mechanical assembles.
- Providing mentorship to machine builders and apprentices.
- Leading assembly and installation projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Assembling, installing, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing systems.
- Performing system testing, validation, and optimization to ensure reliable performance and compliance with customer requirements.
- Supporting engineers in root cause analysis and corrective actions for system malfunctions and process inefficiencies.
- Interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and automation control diagrams to support system assembly and debugging.
- Assisting in process development, manufacturing optimization, and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Providing technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure best practices in automation and safety compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field; 1 year of hands-on experience in an automation or manufacturing environment, including specific experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems; strong understanding of robotics and PLC programming/troubleshooting.
