Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: To develop and design assembly processes and equipment as assigned by the assembly manufacturing manager. To review all new prints and revision changes so that accurate control plans, process flow charts, work instructions and PFMEAs are available to ensure process control.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead APQP activities per our quality standards
Design and develop assembly test equipment and fixturing to meet engineering specifications
Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
Monitor/verify engineering change orders and structure of the manufacturing bill of material
Establish and maintain methods for continuous process improvement on assigned product groups
Develop Process Flows, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions for new products
Organize cross-functional APQP meetings with all necessary people to support successful product or process launches
Coordinate CIP improvements and track cost savings
Assist the Manufacturing Tech Supervisor by providing PM procedures and schedules
Participate in cross-functional teams for new product development, continuation improvements, and cost reduction
Participate in assembly quoting to determine labor and fixturing costs
Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives
Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
4 year degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field OR 5 years of experience in manufacturing field
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Time management/organizational skills
Project management
Working experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
Working experience with 2D and 3D CAD
Familiarity with HMI/SCADA software
Knowledge of manufacturing BOM management
Working experience with PLC's, Robotics/Automation, SPC, GR&R
Knowledge in Lean manufacturing principles
Some travel, including international (less than 5%)

Reference OJT
