Machine Learning/AI Solutions Manager

Create multi-year strategy for design, development, and integration of transformational ML/AI solutions to enable the continued success of our business partners, i.e., Sales and Field Operations, Supply Chain, Functional areas, etc.

Manage the full lifecycle of data science projects from business engagement to technical execution and delivery

Own the definition and continued updating of team technical best practices from version control to ML Operations

Mentor junior staff to enable their transformation to new positions

Enable future readiness across the business by fostering agility, promoting continuous learning, adopting advanced technologies, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration

Travel up to 25% of the time

Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Math, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 to 7 plus years of experience developing custom machine learning models and big data solutions using Python and SQL, including experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP and version control tools or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 9 plus years of the above experience

5 to 6 plus years implementing scalable ML/AI infrastructure and enterprise architecture

5 plus years in software development, including writing efficient, modular, and scalable code, managing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and implementing robust testing strategies

3 plus years with job scheduling tools (cron jobs and Jenkins) to build automated end-to-end data pipelines with various file @types, such as JSON and Parquet, and sharing methods, such as SFTP, blob, and API
