Transportation And Logistics Network Manager

As part of an innovative team within transportation and logistics, you will be responsible for evaluating network shipper defects and driving improvements through coaching and performance management. You will work directly with shippers to develop solutions and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Vendor Management

Monitor, verify, and present data on a daily basis.

Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time.

Identify root causes of transportation defects.

Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers.

Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.

Conduct Daily Business Review Stand-up calls.

Essential Skills

Experience in account management and customer service.

Proficiency in Excel.

Problem-solving skills in transportation, intermodal, and supply chain contexts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Two years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields preferred.

Understanding of basic data analytical skills.

Experience in writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals.

Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel, with the ability to navigate and interpret data.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Good relationship-building skills, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.

Work Environment

The team operates in a highly collaborative and supportive environment, offering extensive training for technical skills. The focus is on developing interpersonal and organizational skills, with opportunities to work with top customers. This position is 100% on-site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
