Local Sales Manager

KTEN. the NBC, ABC and CW affiliates in the Sherman-Ada DMA, is currently seeking a Local Sales Manager to guide our local sales efforts through creative digital and broadcast marketing solutions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess strong communication skills.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee broadcast and digital sales efforts
• Inspire, lead and train sales professionals
• Make sales calls both on your own and with account executives
• Provide team member support and in-field coaching
• Cultivate strong relationships with local advertisers
• Anticipate and meet customer needs, wants and expectations
• Develop and implement sales strategies which meet client objectives and generate incremental revenue
• Must be a skilled negotiator with a proven track record of success
• Wide Orbit, Nielsen/Comscore experience preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in Denison, Texas
• Proficient in Microsoft products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Five years of broadcast media sales or digital marketing is preferred
• Good driving record
