Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a contract Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of lifecycle marketing strategies that drive product adoption, engagement, and conversion across Venmo's owned channels, including email, in-app, and push notifications. Must have demonstrated experience developing campaigns for email and at least one mobile channel (in-app, push, SMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement lifecycle marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and retention.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline campaign execution and reporting.
  • Analyze customer data to segment audiences and tailor marketing messages accordingly.
  • Conduct A/B testing to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce engaging and relevant marketing materials.
  • Leverage analytics to track campaign performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Map customer journeys to identify opportunities for enhanced customer experiences across touchpoints.
  • Manage CRM systems to ensure accurate customer data and segmentation for targeted marketing efforts.
  • Develop digital marketing strategies, including email and social media marketing, to reach customers effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years in CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience developing campaigns for email and at least one mobile channel (in-app, push, SMS).
  • Experience in customer segmentation and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative skills for content creation and marketing messaging.
  • Understanding of digital marketing trends and social media platforms.
  • Experience with Braze, Adobe, or other enterprise-scale consumer marketing automation platforms and/or CDPs preferred.
