Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Lead monthly close, forecasting, and annual planning processes for marketing budgets.
Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to senior leadership on marketing performance versus plan.
Support strategic planning and scenario analysis for marketing investments.
Performance Analysis & Strategic Decision Support
Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate marketing spend efficiency and channel performance.
Leverage data-driven insights to influence senior leadership decisions and guide strategic marketing investment.
Identify Process Improvements
Drive automation and scalability in forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.
Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and tools for marketing analytics.
Lead projects and ad hoc initiatives to improve marketing decision-making.
Reporting and Communication
Prepare clear, concise presentations and narratives for leadership, highlighting performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing Ops, Data Analytics, Strategy) to ensure consistent measurement and reporting.
Balance competing priorities and maintain alignment with overarching business objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years' related work experience, with at least two years' financial services industry experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Economics or Finance degree preferred. Advanced excel and financial modeling skills required. Experience in marketing or marketing analytics is considered a strong asset.
