Position Overview
The Key Account Manager manages, retains, and grows relationships with a company's most strategic, high-value clients. (S)he will serve as the primary liaison between key customers and internal teams, driving revenue through upselling, ensuring high satisfaction, and creating long-term strategic plans to meet client goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build long-term, trusting partnerships with top-tier clients.
Develop and execute tailored, strategic account plans to maximize profitability and identify new opportunities.
Drive sales through upselling and cross-selling. Ensuring achievement of annual sales targets.
Act as the main point of contact, connecting clients with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) for seamless service delivery.
Promptly address and solve client complaints or service failures to maintain trust.
Develop, analyze, report and present account health, trends, and KPIs to internal stakeholders.
Create and present a variety of effective full line dairy and ice cream sales presentations for utilization in increasing existing customer sales and the acquisition for new customers.
Train customers on company procedures relevant to ordering, returns, damage products, etc.
Other duties assigned by supervisor deemed necessary for the effective and efficient operations of the department.
Required Qualifications
Motivated self-starter with the ability to structure and productively manage own time with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated product knowledge.
Maintaining a valid driver's license.
Proven experience in key account management, sales or similar roles.
A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Required Skills/Abilities
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to analyze data, sales trends, and market, or industry conditions.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites
Results- oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
Excellent customer service experience.

Comfortable working in an office environment
Ability to lift, push and pull products weighing up to sixty pounds or more in and out of confined spaces and occasionally having to lift product overhead.

Ability to lift and move large amounts of paperwork.
