Fall 2026 Program Dates: Approximately September 2026 - December 2026
Job Summary:
Work with Engineers to assist with basic re-design and development efforts of Mechanical, Electrical, Show, and/or Ride controls and software systems. Interns will learn Safety systems for Ride Controls, how to interface with vendors, and basic Project Management skills along with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
Major Responsibilities:
Documentation.
Assist with engineering calculations.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing.
Site Acceptance Testing.
Troubleshooting and fault analysis.
Vendor management and Contract development.
Minimum Qualifications:
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
A transcript is required upon application.
Basic AC/DC electrical knowledge, AutoCAD/Inventor/SolidWorks, Physics, Calculus, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
Preferred majors include: Business Management, Hospitality.
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge, Programming Skills, Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Problem-Solving Skills

This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
