Infrastructure Services Operator 1/Limited
The Infrastructure Services Operator 1/Limited serves as a member of the Public Utilities Team. The Infrastructure Services Operator 1/Limited performs operations, maintenance, repair, replacement, inspection, and assessment of public utilities infrastructure, including the wastewater collection and conveyance system, water distribution system, stormwater collections and conveyance system and other infrastructure; in accordance with established standard operating procedures and state, local, and federal regulations. The Infrastructure Services Operator 1/Limited may be assigned to other divisions of the Public Utilities Department. Examples of duties include:
- Operation and maintenance of wastewater, stormwater, and water distribution infrastructure
- Operate a wide variety of heavy and light duty equipment, attachments, and trailers
- Maintains, calibrates, and repairs standard and specialty utility equipment
- Assists in the response of emergency calls, including but not limited to, water main breaks, water outages, sewer backups, sinkholes, power outages
- Communicate with the public in a professional, respectful, and informative manner
