Industrial Painter | (1st Shift)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter to join our team. In this role, you will apply primer and topcoat coatings to frames, operators, gates, stock parts, and other accessories according to work orders. You will ensure the quality of coatings and maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Apply primer and topcoat coatings to various products according to work orders.
• Clean all spraying equipment thoroughly using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Refill pressure pots as needed to maintain continuous painting operations.
• Regularly replace booth filters to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist the Paint Prep Technician when required.
• Adhere to the daily and weekly department schedule to ensure timely coating of products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free of hazards.
• Ensure quality inspections are completed before products leave the booth.
• Comply with all HazMat policies as outlined in training.
• Assist with quarterly booth maintenance based on production needs.
• Follow all safety protocols for the Paint Department.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Track and log all primer, paint, and thinner usage within the department.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in industrial painting and paint prep techniques.
• Experience with spray guns and paint booths.
• Ability to perform sanding and production tasks.
• Familiarity with auto body painting and paint spraying.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
