We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production. You will be responsible for performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities at predetermined intervals. The role involves working with 480v 3-phase electrical wiring and industrial machine troubleshooting, predominantly focusing on rolling machinery. Additionally, you will perform basic facility maintenance, such as changing light bulbs and providing general office support. You will read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to conduct necessary maintenance and service. Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments are essential to this role. You will utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform your duties. Detecting faulty or unsafe operations and reporting them to the proper supervision is crucial, as is complying with and enforcing all safety regulations. Maintaining clean and orderly work areas and managing work records using a computerized PM and Work Request System are also part of the job.

The work environment offers multiple shift openings: 1st shift (5am-1pm), 2nd shift (1pm-9pm), and 3rd shift (9pm-5am) with a $1.50 shift differential. The facility is clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It provides a quiet space where employees can listen to headphones (one earbud) during work hours. Dress code requires gym shoes, casual attire, and eye protection.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
