Join a dynamic service company undertaking an automation upgrade at a prominent facility. We are seeking dedicated installers, general laborers, and material handlers to contribute to this exciting project. You will be instrumental in installing robotic arms on loading docks, constructing sub-stations, and setting up internal site fencing. This role involves using power tools, managing materials, and supporting project teams through commissioning, cleaning, and building tasks.
This 6-8 week assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the material handling industry by installing advanced devices at distribution centers. Familiarity with these projects can lead to future opportunities and further career development. The role promises a hands-on experience with the potential for extension, fostering skill enhancement and professional growth.
The work takes place in a multi-floor warehouse facility under construction, which can be messy, loud, and crowded. It is a highly visible role that requires professionalism and presentability. The work is physically demanding, involving extensive walking on cement surfaces. Safety gear including high-visibility vests, safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and ear plugs will be provided. The dress code is casual but practical, with jeans, safety toe shoes/boots, and T-shirts recommended. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break, totaling approximately 40 hours per week.
This is a contract position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
