The Human Resources Coordinator supports employees and leaders across multiple service centers and serves as a trusted HR partner. This role ensures a smooth onboarding experience, accurate workers' compensation administration, and responsive day-to-day HR support. The ideal candidate has strong Paylocity experience, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
1. Onboarding & New Hire Experience
Manage the full-cycle onboarding process from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
Initiate and monitor onboarding workflows in Paylocity, including:
Partner with hiring managers to ensure new hires receive proper tools, access, and training.
Conduct virtual or in-person new hire orientations.
Track onboarding metrics and ensure timely completion of all documentation.
Support background checks and pre-employment screenings.
Workers' Compensation Administration
Serve as the primary contact for all workers' compensation claims.
File First Reports of Injury (FROI) in a timely and compliant manner.
Coordinate with insurance carriers, adjusters, and internal leadership.
Track claim progress, medical restrictions, and return-to-work documentation.
Support modified duty and return-to-work programs.
Maintain accurate documentation and update OSHA logs when required.
Collaborate with Safety and Operations to identify trends and reduce incidents.
Employee Support & HR Operations
Act as the first point of contact for employee HR questions.
Provide guidance on policies, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, PTO, and compliance.
Assist leaders with employee relations issues and related documentation.
Maintain accurate employee files in Paylocity.
Support payroll by auditing employee changes and resolving discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Assist with performance management processes.
Support employee engagement initiatives and company-wide programs.
2+ years of HR Coordinator or higher-level HR experience.
Strong experience with Paylocity (onboarding, HRIS, time & labor).
Knowledge of:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (pivot tables preferred).

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
