Hrit Systems And Operations Manager

Under the general supervision of the Chief of HRIT or designee, the HRIT Systems and Operations Manager will perform a full range of Human Resources Information Technology work including staff supervision, planning, developing, coordinating, and reviewing HRIT work, audit verification, and approval of the executive branch government personnel transactions; leading special projects and creating reports. The incumbent ensures that the hardware and software systems are functional and accessible to end users.

This position requires a confidential relationship to a policymaker.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervises, coordinates, approves, and oversees the work of subordinates.

Prepares, creates, and exports a variant number of reports as required and analyzes data.

Develops training techniques to enhance productivity.

Develops and provides training to staff and HR professionals.

Provides guidance and consultation with HR personnel for all branches of government in reference to personnel actions, grievances, stipulations, etc.

Performs a wide variety of HRIT audit transactions related to new hires, promotions, career progressions, lateral transfers, merit increases, union raises, voluntary terminations or demotions, status change, retirements, leave with/out pay, retirements, FMLA, military, etc.

Manages and maintains internal systems, hardware, software, and Agency security systems.

Oversees and develops guidelines and recommends policies to ensure network security.

Researches and provides quotes for systems, software, and items for purchase.

Maintains employee Official Personnel Folders (OPR) in the ERP system.

Performs other related duties.
