We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Associate to join our team. The individual will be responsible for executing general HR functions, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various HR and Occupational Health operations.
Responsibilities
Perform customer service functions both in-person and by telephone for employees, applicants, visitors, and department managers.
Process background checks for new employees and notarize Child Protective Services background Searches for specific departments.
Verify I-9 documentation and sort mail for distribution to appropriate employee mailboxes.
Photocopy, fax, scan documents, and perform clerical functions like processing mail and preparing correspondence.
Assist with tracking departmental and company measurements to support strategic goals.
Serve as department notary and assist with department functions as requested.
Prepare paperwork required for new hires and establish personnel files.
Provide new hires with a missing documentation list and send reminders during orientation.
Greet and assist employees in Occupational Health as needed.
Maintain a clean and sanitized reception area and ensure availability of necessary forms.
Obtain and review new hire and employee immunization records and HRA paperwork.
Review COVID Training and RTW Guidelines with new hires and manage clinic flow.
Assist with scheduling appointments and data entry tasks.
Process incoming mail and scan documents into employee folders.
Answer phones and direct calls as needed.
Essential Skills
3+ years of Administrative Assistant experience required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent customer service skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to multitask.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
HR support experience or occupational health clinic experience is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment
This position is located at the front desk with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role involves interacting with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment. The company is undergoing restructuring, offering new roles and opportunities for growth.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
