As a Hardware Engineering Technician Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the design and prototyping of new products, as well as assisting in the redesign of existing products to resolve issues. You will get the opportunity to help transcribe existing parts from drawings and physical components into 3d models, participate in building and testing prototypes, and perform minor electronics work.
Requirements
Experience using CAD modeling software, i.e. Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, or Autodesk Fusion 360. Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with modeling. Ability to identify and resolve technical issues in existing products. Good mechanical background a plus. General knowledge of electronics a plus. Has or is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, general CAD drawing/modeling.
