This position supports MnDOT's use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by providing technical guidance, training, and user support across the agency. The role helps staff access and apply GIS data for planning, operations, and decision-making. Key responsibilities include analyzing spatial data needs, improving workflows, creating maps and visual tools, and supporting GIS applications. The position also promotes data quality, consistency, and effective GIS use throughout MnDOT.
