The Arc of Centre County is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Community Programming teams, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in their own homes and throughout the community.

This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful, relationship-driven work while helping others live independently and stay connected to their community.

What You'll Do

As a DSP in Community Programming, you will:

• Support individuals in their homes and community settings
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, hygiene, routines)
• Encourage independence and personal goal achievement
• Help individuals participate in community activities and social engagement
• Build trusting, respectful relationships
• Promote a safe, healthy, and empowering environment

Transportation & Driving Expectations

This role may include transporting individuals in the community. DSPs in our program:

• Use their personal or agency vehicle to transport individuals to activities, appointments, and outings
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Receive mileage reimbursement for work-related travel

What We Offer

PT $17/hour starting pay (plus shift differentials)

FT $18/hour starting pay (plus shift differentials)

Earn up to $1,000 Sign-On, Stay-On Bonus (2026)
