This Food Service Worker position is located within the Nutrition & Food Service at the VA Medical Center in Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VHA). The primary purpose of the food service worker is to provide high quality food service which meets all food safety requirements and to provide the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities include:
Work Schedule: Part-Time, 5am-9am OR 3pm-7pm

Physical Requirements: Continual standing and walking, frequent stooping, reaching, pushing and bending. Repetitive motion for long periods especially in the sanitation and trayline areas. Frequently lifting or moving objects and pushing/pulling carts weighing up to 40 pounds. Performing heavy work such as scouring and scrubbing pots, pans, or other food service equipment.
