The HR Systems & Project Management Intern will support HRIS and HR Project Management by contributing to two key projects. The first project focuses on improving how HR tracks and responds to incoming requests. Currently, HR does not have a centralized system to log requests, track response times, or identify who completed each request. The intern will help support the development of an online digital ticketing system in partnership with the HRIS team to improve organization, accountability, and efficiency. The second project supports HR's project prioritization efforts. HR manages a high volume of projects and has created a rubric to score projects based on alignment with DHS and HR North Stars; however, this process is currently manual. The HR Systems & Project Management Intern will assist in creating a digital project scoring calculator with heat map functionality to streamline the process, reduce manual effort, and support data-informed decision-making in partnership with HR Project Management.
