Lead Engineer For Ng9-1-1 Systems
Work Location: Onsite Only - 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Participate in configuration and testing of the ESiNET and ensure compliance with City, APCO, and NENA standards.
Report all quality control issues to the NG9-1-1 Program Manager and agency representatives.
Review all ESiNET network services and ensure all developed interfaces meet agency requirements.
Define enterprise network architecture; recommend and validate emerging technologies aligned with 9-1-1 call-taking and dispatch operations.
Demonstrate detailed understanding of NG9-1-1 i3 VoIP standards and develop configuration templates using best practices.
Create conceptual, logical, and physical network architecture test plans and interface controls ensuring compliance with NENA standards.
Candidates without these skills will not be considered: Minimum 8 years as a Lead Engineer in a technical domain or 9-1-1 systems platforms. Strong understanding of Oracle SBC and B2BUA configurations and reference architectures. Subject Matter Expertise in Enterprise Integration and design of mission-critical 9-1-1 systems (preferred). CCIE certification or equivalent network system integration experience. Excellent communication, business writing, and interpersonal skills. Experience with Firewall technologies (Palo Alto Networks preferred). Expertise in voice/network engineering methods and best practices. Minimum 8 years VOIP/Standard PBX experience. Strong organization, creativity, flexibility, and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
