Under the direction of the Assistant Division Director of Operations, manages the daily operational activities in a 67 million gallons per day advanced wastewater treatment plant and general administrative requirements of 48 plant operators on four rotating shifts in compliance with Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act regulations.
Assesses, recommends, and implements business operations improvements in regulatory documentation, consumables costs, workforce deployment, and treatment process performance.
Reviews and approves all facility outages for maintenance and construction outages.
Supervises day-to-day operations to ensure permit compliance.
Serves as subject matter expert on plant operations and serves in an acting capacity as Operations Branch Chief, in the branch chief's absence.
