Engineer
CTC Trading Group, LLC seeks an Engineer in New York, NY. Duties: Design, develop, and build software and tests for automation, reporting, and web applications. Deliver and support software into the production environment. Work with traders, compliance, and back-office teams to gather and validate requirements. Investigate requests and problems. Design and implement corresponding solutions. Telecommuting is permitted. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field plus one (1) year of experience in the following:
- 1 year of experience with strong software engineering fundamentals
- 1 year of experience with writing software in Python, Java, SQL, or web technologies
- 1 year of experience with proficiency with Windows Service or Linux operating systems
- 1 year of experience with familiarity with SVN, Git, or similar code management systems
- 1 year of experience with delivering and supporting software in a production environment
- 1 year of experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies
- 1 year of experience with Pip, Conda, and Mamba Python packaging technologies
- 1 year of experience with CAT reporting
Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
