This position serves as an Emergency Services Dispatcher with the Fire and Emergency Services Division located at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC). RRMC is on one of the Nation's premier facilities, providing support to various Department of Defense (DoD) tenants in an all-hazards environment.

Mission Essential Position: Mission Essential employees may be required to report for, or remain at, work in dismissal or closure situations due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other emergency situations (e.g., building closure due to power outage) as well as emergency preparedness exercises, and are required to maintain contact with their supervisor during any dismissal or closure situation unless specifically excused by their supervisor.
Key Position: A Key position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the Federal agency or office function effectively. This position may not be filled by a Ready Reservist or military retiree with recall obligations.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. You may qualify at the GS-06 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to:
