Seasoned Electrical Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in UAS system architecture, along with 5+ years of hands-on industry experience. Prior involvement with defense programs and military platforms and aeronautics is highly desired. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, integration, testing, and verification of electrical systems, ensuring they meet rigorous military specifications, safety requirements, and mission-critical performance standards. $90,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

-BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline

-5+ years in military aircraft or vehicle systems and power electronics

-Strong UAS experience

-Familiarity with MIL-STD requirements and EMI/EMC compliance

-Knowledgeable in military-standard compliance for cabling and harness design, documentation, and testing/validation

-Active Secret Security Clearence -Hybrid/electric propulsion experience, CAN/Ethernet protocols, harsh environment standards.

-MS in a technical discipline or related field

-Active Top Secret Security Clearence or Higher
