Energy Residential Energy System Integration Engineer

To ensure the client's overall mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy, the client Energy team is bringing our world leading battery technology to the grid. The client is leveraging its breakthrough firmware, electronics, test, and manufacturing capability to develop and deploy grid connected storage at residential, industrial, and utility levels.

Tesla Energy is looking for an engineer who specializes in grid interconnect compliance validation to drive market entry for its residential energy product.

What You'll Do:

• Build test setups to enable grid interconnect testing
• Perform firmware integration of grid compliance functions to accelerate market entry and adoption
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure functional, performance, safety, and compliance requirements are successfully achieved

Skills:

• Power analyze, compliance testing, integration testing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in hardware and firmware integration and validation
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product
• Proficiency with basic EE tools (scopes, power analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads)
• Preferred: Familiarity with grid standards such as IEEE1547
• Preferred: Compliance testing experience

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
