Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with deep expertise in SolidWorks Electrical to support and lead electrical design activities, including library development, CAD migration, and wiring harness design. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently, contribute immediately, and support the transition from legacy CAD tools into SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical design activities using SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Develop and maintain electrical libraries.
  • Migrate data from AutoCAD to SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Create and revise wiring harness routings.
  • Support the transition from legacy CAD tools to SolidWorks Electrical.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Design.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical is a must-have.
  • Experience with setting up Electrical Libraries.
  • Ability to migrate data from AutoCAD to SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Experience in creating and revising wiring harness routings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience in industries such as AG, Mining, Automotive, Construction, or Aerospace is a plus.

Work Environment:

This is an in-person role, providing the opportunity to work for a national organization with room for growth and development.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tyler, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
