We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to diagnose and resolve issues with printed circuit boards (PCBs) that are not functioning as expected. The ideal candidate will analyze design, production, and assembly problems, test PCBs, and write corrective action reports to guide the production and design teams in resolving these issues.
Responsibilities
Test and diagnose PCBs to identify design, production, and assembly issues.
Analyze design, test data, PCB failures, and conduct root cause investigations to determine the origin of problems.
Write corrective action reports detailing solutions and recommendations for manufacturing and design improvements.
Collaborate with production and design teams to implement corrective actions.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in power electronics and high power applications.
Experience in PCB testing, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.
Ability to write detailed corrective action reports for PCBs.
Strong understanding of PCB layout and design, motor control, and circuit design.
Familiarity with DC/DC converters, motor drives, and MOSFETs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with motor controls.
Experience working with suppliers.
Work Environment
The role is based in a large factory setting, with engineers working in an upstairs office and cubicle-style space. An electronics lab is available onsite on the same floor. Team members have flexible working hours, arriving between 6:30 and 8:30 AM, with the requirement to work 8 hours each day. The position offers long-term contracts that are extended every six months, providing stability and the opportunity for long-term collaboration.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
