The Marketing Communications Intern will work closely with members of the Communications Team of the Firm's Business Development & Marketing Department in support of various firm and department initiatives.
Essential Functions:
Draft and distribute press releases and media pitches
Update attorney biographies and liaise with attorneys on edits
Assist with media list research
Post alerts, events and newsletters to web site and/or firm intranet
Assist with social media post creation and research
Assist with other writing tasks, including event invitations and other materials, as necessary
Special projects, as assigned, for the Business Development & Marketing Department and Firm, including but not limited to: survey responses, production of PowerPoints for attorneys, etc.
Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Some related marketing/communications experience/second or final Co-op preferred
Candidates must have strong writing capabilities
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
