Media Account Management Director

The Media Account Management Director is a hybrid project manager and client partner, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a complex media account. This role ensures flawless execution of media campaigns by coordinating across internal teams including: Client Services, Media, Search, Social, Creative, Ad Operations, and Data & Analytics, and managing operational processes such as billing, timelines, and deliverables.

Success in this role requires a blend of critical thinking, operational excellence, and client-facing finesse. You'll serve as the connective tissue between the client and cross-functional teams to drive collaboration, streamline delivery, and ensure campaigns meet business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for media campaign operations and project delivery.
  • Leading the entire process of media plan implementation from initiation to completion and analysis; ensuring achievements, deliverables, and budgets are met.
  • Facilitating communication across internal and external teams to maintain alignment on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Supporting billing, budgeting, and tracking processes to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partnering with strategy and media teams to interpret campaign performance and translate insights into actionable next steps.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and helping implement scalable solutions that enhance operational workflow.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and proactively addressing issues or opportunities.

Qualifications include:

  • 7-9+ years of experience in digital media, integrated marketing, project management, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and reporting fundamentals.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving client and business needs.
  • A strategic approach with a focus on details and follow-through.

Compensation Range: $121,315 - $174,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
