Bhsl seeks a strategic, results-oriented leader to serve as director of business services, combining expertise in behavioral health operations, revenue cycle management, and financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will excel in data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration, while demonstrating strong leadership and adaptability. They should bring innovative approaches to care models and service line growth, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community impact.

Pay: $69.65 - $111.44 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

The director of business services plays a key role in the health system's strategic and operational efforts by:

  • Developing and implementing departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Directing and evaluating departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Planning and monitoring staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets, and ensuring that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinating and directing internal/external audits.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED. Preferred: bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
  • 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or a healthcare setting.
