Onsite Desktop Support Specialist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's gaming client located in Bellevue, WA. The big picture includes skills such as a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, two to three years supporting end users and desktops in a professional environment, proficiency in using technical tools such as Task Manager, ProcMon, Sysinternals, etc, and skilled in installation and administration of operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11.

What you'll be doing includes building high-end workstations to help with projects, responsible for imaging numerous machines simultaneously, tracking project progress and deploying new machines across the studio, installing workstation operating systems according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs, solving computer and basic user networking issues, understanding the installation of workstation operating systems according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs, providing support for MS Windows 10 and 11, providing hardware, software and systems support, using custom tools to support users and their systems, basic user account/computer object administration (Active Directory), and participating in analyzing and debugging desktop software applications.

What you need to bring to the table includes a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, two to three years supporting end users and desktops in a professional environment, proficiency in using technical tools such as Task Manager, ProcMon, Sysinternals, etc, skilled in installation and administration of operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11, competence with command line tools, self-driven and able to immediately contribute, able to learn quickly in a highly technical, fast-paced and intensive environment, and experience in a role involving direct customer contact (internal and external customers).

CompTIA A+ Certification, experience with IP networking (Subnetting, VLANs, Routing), experience with batch scripting for enterprise management, and familiarity with OS deployment tools (MDT, OSD, Fogg, etc.) are otherwise known as preferred qualifications.
