Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented customer service representative to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a contract position, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the wholesale distribution industry. The role involves supporting customers, managing orders, and ensuring a seamless experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Create and manage sales orders for installations and services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments and installations for customers and builders.
  • Update and maintain order information in Service Works and other relevant systems.
  • Assist with invoicing, billing, and other administrative tasks to support operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other web portals to manage data and track progress.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Take detailed notes during training sessions to master system processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to navigate various web portals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Experience with scheduling, invoicing, and billing tasks is highly desirable.
  • Punctuality and reliability to ensure smooth daily operations.
