Customer Service Representative - Healthcare Call Center

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a highly respected healthcare organization to hire a Customer Service Representative for a long-term assignment with strong potential for full-time conversion.

Location: Onsite: Cary, NC - First 90 Days (Required)

Hybrid eligibility (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) based on performance & attendance

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday | 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Rotating Saturdays | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (every 6-8 weeks)

When working Saturday, you'll receive a weekday off (Tue-Fri)

Pay Rate: $19-$20.40/hr.

Position Overview

The Patient Support Specialist serves as a key resource for inbound patient calls, helping ensure seamless coordination of prescription deliveries, insurance verification, and general support. You will play an important role in facilitating timely and accurate medication distribution while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for inbound calls regarding prescription status, delivery, and payment.

Schedule medication deliveries and update patient profiles for accurate and timely distribution.

Respond to general patient inquiries or route calls to appropriate clinical staff.

Maintain clear, concise progress notes to support workflow efficiency.

Verify insurance information, assist with refills, and provide shipping status updates.

Address patient concerns, escalating to pharmacists or nurses when clinically necessary.

Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to ensure patient safety.

Support other administrative and call center functions as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of high-volume call center experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic problem-solving abilities

Ability to type 35+ WPM

Comfortable navigating multiple systems and handling fast-paced workflows
