Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Irvine, California, on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to our banking branch by delivering excellent customer service and managing daily teller operations. This position offers a 90-day contract duration with the potential for extension based on branch requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Process a variety of banking transactions efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Handle cash accurately and securely while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving account-related issues.
- Maintain a detail-oriented and friendly demeanor in all customer interactions.
- Assist in managing heavy retail traffic within the branch.
- Support branch operations by ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Respond to inbound calls promptly, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Utilize order entry systems effectively to process transactions and customer requests.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in branch banking or teller operations is required.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to accuracy and security.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in high-pressure environments.
- Experience in retail or payday/check cashing centers is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.
- Familiarity with order entry systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
