Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Downers Grove, Illinois. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring clear communication and providing excellent support to our customers. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your ability to listen attentively and deliver accurate solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Write and proofread reports on lab results using pre-existing templates
• Communicate effectively with scientists and other stakeholders to accurately interpret and relay information.
• Process and manage customer orders with precision, maintaining attention to detail.
• Handle outbound calls to follow up on inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and order entries in the system.
• Collaborate with team members to address complex issues and achieve resolution efficiently.
• Uphold company standards by providing courteous and empathetic support to every customer.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns and provide timely and grammatically correct solutions.
• Adapt to changing processes and priorities to meet business needs.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by actively participating in meetings and discussions.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in responding to emails and writing reports.
• Proficiency in English (writing & speaking)
• Strong skills in order entry and attention to detail.
• Exceptional listening and communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of professionals.
• Proven problem-solving skills to address customer concerns.
• Familiarity with maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems or processes.
