Customer Support Representative

We are looking for an energetic, well organized self-starter to join a growing family-owned company doing customer support. This position is fast-paced and requires someone to work closely with their clients, ensuring orders and shipments are being processed swiftly and correctly. In this role, you can expect to be responsible for scheduling of shipments, communication with the customer, delivery tracking, and delivery confirmation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, prioritize, and respond timely to customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Accurately manage inbound and outbound customer inventory
  • Schedule shipping and receiving appointments
  • Facilitate, analyze, and resolve customer issues
  • Maintain inventory integrity with any transactions performed
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to accomplish the workload, truck turn times, and troubleshoot/resolve issues
  • Responsible for data entry and file management
  • Provide backup support for coworkers
  • Other tasks as assigned

Other Experience and Qualifications:

3-5 years of professional customer service, logistics/transportation or call center experience

Advanced level skills in order entry, email correspondence and customer relations

Above average skills in Microsoft Excel

A pleasant and positive attitude - with good work ethic including attendance
