Member Service Representative (Remote)

Join our team as a Member Service Representative where you will respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals within a dynamic and structured contact center environment. You will provide detailed information about our products and services, demonstrating your knowledge, active listening, and adaptability across multiple systems to ensure an exceptional member experience. Your role will also involve performing transactions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts, while advising members on products and services that may suit their needs.

Responsibilities

Respond to member inquiries and requests within a high-volume, schedule-driven contact center.

Provide information about products and services with knowledge and engagement to ensure optimal member experience.

Perform transactions related to savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts.

Advise members on additional products and services that meet their needs.

Handle inbound and outbound calls effectively while maintaining policy compliance.

Essential Skills

Strong customer service skills.

Proficiency in data entry.

Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls.

Ability to work in a structured, high-volume environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a call center, administrative, or high-volume retail environment.

Background in banking, mortgage, or professional environments.

Work Environment

These are remote opportunities, but candidates must reside within 60 miles of Jacksonville, FL. The contact center operates 24/7/365, providing flexibility in scheduling. While most shifts offer flexibility within a one-hour window, you will be expected to maintain availability for 9.5 hours each day. Scheduled breaks and meals are structured, and you'll be engaged in back-to-back phone calls for most of your shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
