Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cleburne, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting inbound customer inquiries and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks to successfully manage the entire life-cycle of order fulfillment. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating with internal teams for resolution.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files for efficient record-keeping.
  • Process purchase orders and oversee the timely procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Assist in creating new item specifications based on provided files and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with accounting to process customer credits and ensure proper documentation.
  • Track inventory levels in the warehouse, analyze usage trends, and ensure stock availability within agreed limits.
  • Support sales representatives by generating additional sales opportunities and providing administrative assistance.
  • Record and distribute changes to customer orders, ensuring effective communication.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer data entry and familiarity with production processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and create reports and correspondence.
  • Solid mathematical abilities, including calculating rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Problem-solving skills to address a variety of situations with limited information.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and practices, including QS.
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to mechanical parts, humidity, and airborne particles. TalentMatch®
