Job Title
SLH Metals, Inc. is a retail metals sales and custom fabrication shop. We service the local area in all metal needs, from small to large orders of various metals and small to large fabrication projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administering customer service and sales for walk in and phone customers.
Provide estimates and quotes based on customer drawings and requirements.
Provide light design assistance to ensure projects meet expectations.
Provide technical information and pricing as needed to customers to help determine the best products and processes for their project.
Lifting and handling metal products.
Using band saws and shearing equipment.
Requirements
Excellent customer sales and service skills.
Previous experience in a fabrication shop or retail metal sales.
Light machine operation experience.
Technical knowledge from experience in metals industry, i.e. various metal types and processes.
Ability to work in a team environment and interact with project management staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
