Key job responsibilities
Partner with engineering and technology teams to provide legal guidance on product development, system implementation, and robotics initiatives
Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology, supply chain, licensing, and deployment contracts
Assess and advise on legal, reputational, and compliance risks related to technical architecture and program design
Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters and software licensing
Develop and implement practical solutions to support business objectives while ensuring legal compliance
Basic qualifications
5+ years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
