Primary Role Construction Engineering Internship
Key Accountabilities:
Gain firsthand experience in how water utilities support communities and ensure sustainability. Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop water supply plans, asset management plans, and support various engineering and construction projects for the company's water and wastewater systems. Provide engineering support to both engineers and operational staff. Work with Senior Engineers in the Project Delivery Team and assist with the delivery of water / wastewater capital investment projects. This includes design, permitting, construction and startup. Projects could include new or upgraded water storage tanks, pump stations, pipelines, and water / wastewater treatment plants. Work with Senior Engineers in the Planning Team and assist them with completing engineering tasks such as building/calibration hydraulic modeling for a water distribution system, demand projections, asset condition and performance assessments, and preparing planning reports and recommendations.

Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous experience with AutoCAD, or ArcGIS is a plus.
Experience/Education:
Enrollment in an Engineering undergraduate degree program, Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Other Valid Driver's License. Ability to pass a background check.
