Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse II will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the following perioperative services:

• Pre-surgical (PSC) Services
• Post-Operative (PACU) Services
• Interventional Radiology (IR), Endoscopy and Bone Marrow Under Sedation

Assure completion of required diagnostic and evaluative tests, providing related patient education programs and pre-operative clinical assessments. Work reciprocally with other members of the perioperative team. Implement the nursing process for surgical patients requiring monitoring and nursing interventions in an acute PACU setting Assure completion of required diagnostic and evaluative tests, providing related patient education programs and post-operative clinical assessments.

Key Qualifications:

• New York State RN license and BSN
• Critical Care, Telemetry, Pre surgical or post-surgical experience preferred
• Strong IV Skills a plus
• BLS, ACLS
• 1-2 years of surgical oncology experience a plus

Additional Information:

• Location: David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, 530 East 74th, New York, NY
• Schedule: 10 Hour shifts, Monday - Friday flexed hours 6.30am - 9.00 pm with flexibility to work weekends as needed
• Reporting To: Nurse Leader, Perioperative Services
• Pay Range: $110,700.00 - $177,100.00
