DLZ Corporation is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer - Construction Services Project Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.

What You'll Do:

• Manage construction projects from planning and procurement through construction and start-up.
• Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring expectations are exceeded.
• Oversee inspection and testing personnel, schedule field activities, and maintain equipment.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and safety standards while maintaining project documentation.
• Conduct progress meetings, resolve challenges, and deliver projects on time and within scope.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong background in horizontal/vertical construction projects and materials testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, e-Builder, LMIS.
• Valid driver's license and willing to use personal vehicle for job related work, as needed.
• Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
• Preferred, but not required Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with City of Columbus and/or ODOT projects.
