Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Cath Lab, the Nurse Auditor performs thorough chart review of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation for inaccuracies, omissions, misspellings, and charge review. As needed, facilitates documentation correction with appropriate staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field or combination of equivalent experience and education is required.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the state of California is required.
Four (4) years clinical experience in cardiovascular service environment is required.
Fluency in the use of multiple automation tools and familiarity with mid-range operating systems is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to prioritize are required.
EPIC Super User status is preferred.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision is required.
Analytical skills necessary to solve complex technical problems and determine the best course of action are required.
Pay Range
$48.56 - $72.85
